Responsibilities
STORE OPERATIONS
Maintain organised and tidy the cash desks within the store at all times
Process sales, exchanges and refunds efficiently, accurately and quickly in all payment methods (cash, credit card, gift/ voucher card, employee discount, e-voucher)
Ensure complete efficiency when following opening and closing cash desk procedures
Investigate, monitor, record and resolve till discrepancies in the store, using the Discrepancy Record and report them to the AMT Department
Manage store stationary and bag orders whilst maintaining required levels, according to store’s budget
Follow up, monitor and ensure cash desk activities and cash desks are running efficiently and are in good working order and maintained regularly
Follow the commercial guidelines regards to the perfumes’ layout and overlook their replenishment
SECURITY PROCEDURES
Ensure security procedures are followed rigorously by all employees in the store and all relevant documentation has been signed.
Make sure all the operation standards are set up and followed in all the cash desks, in regards to purchases, refunds, exchanges, transfer product (RFID) , faulty and on hold items
Manage the request for change in the store and follow up
TEAM ORGANISATION AND TRAINING
Ensure all departments have sufficient Cashiers cover by planning and managing the Cashiers daily rota’s in liaison with each department manager and according to cashier’s ratio of contracts.
Train and develop all Cashiers team and follow up their performance
Train and update the team regularly on new systems, payment methods and security aspects
Manage the recruitment and inductions of new team members
Promote HR Policies and Procedures and the Code of Conduct in the store by sharing information with the team and leading by example
Manage employee expenses process and relevant paperwork
Ensure effective communication with the store’s Management Team
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Ensure that customers are acknowledged and receive a quality service
Motivating the team to offer a positive customer experience in the store, while leading by example
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy.
To be an ambassador in the company’s sustainability project and ensure that the company upholds and works towards finding new, innovative and economically reductive ways to stay sustainable
