Customs Officer

R e s p o n s i b i l i t i e s

• Supervise customs activities carried out by operators related to the supply chain (forwarders, customs agents, suppliers, factories, etc.) comply with the standards / deadlines required by the department and not affecting the regular development of customs clearance.

• Accomplish preparatory procedures for customs declarations (tariff classification, recording and updating logistic and customs data, commercial and customs documentation, applications processing: quality control industrial products (SOIVRE)

• Manage pre-clearance for customs controls

• Control and implement effective management of the customs Distribution Hub, preparing reports and making proposals that improve optimization

• Report incidents (delays)

E d u c a t i o n

Bachelor degree/HBO in related fields

E x p e r i e n c e

Min  2 years of experience in Customs Department

K n o w l e d g e _ L a n g u a g e s

Dutch and English at a professional level

Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage
